How support works

Many parents notice times when their child seems unsettled, anxious, or struggles to manage big emotions. It can be hard to know how best to support them, especially when you simply want to see them feeling happy, calm, and confident again.

The aim is to provide gentle, practical support that helps children build emotional wellbeing skills in a way that feels safe and achievable, giving both children and families simple strategies they can use in everyday life.

For children and young people aged 5-15, individual sessions are tailored to each child's needs. Sessions provide a calm space where children can feel safe, settle their nervous system, and explore emotions at their own pace.

Session style and resources

Where possible, sessions are themed to your child's hobbies and interests. This keeps support engaging and enjoyable while helping practical strategies continue at home and school.

When appropriate, tailored guided visualisations can be provided for home listening to help children revisit feelings of calm and safety and build confidence in emotional regulation.

This is not therapy or counselling. Sessions focus on practical, age-appropriate techniques delivered in a warm, light-hearted, and supportive way, always within clear professional boundaries.

Strategies children may learn

Everyday tools

Breathing exercises children actually enjoy

Calm breathing is one of the first tools children learn — and one they keep for life. Sessions turn it into something playful and repeatable, so children can find their own calm at school, at home, or anywhere big feelings show up.
